Driver Assessments
We offer a service where by you can book a driver for assessment. An experienced assesor will partner your driver for 45mins – 1 hour and write a report on the way the vehicle was driven and the confidence your driver has with controlling the vehicle. This will give you peace of mind when allowing employees to drive the company vehicles. We can also offer a service where by all new employees which you are considering to be company car drivers have to complete a driver form, send a copy of their licence and complete and a driver safety questionnaire to us before you agree to them driving a company vehicle. We will then check through their answers, check the type and amount of points they have and give our professional opinion as to whether they are suitable to drive and whether they are a high risk and need to do a driver assessment with an outsourced driver training company. All of the above systems can help aid towards vehicles being driven respectfully and being well looked after. This will help reduce any maintenance or repair costs for the vehicle.
Accident Management
First Vehicle Management offers a facility where we will deal directly with your insurance broker/company. Any incident which needs to be dealt with through insurance, the employee can call/email directly to ourselves and we will process the whole claim from start to finish. We will log the claim and take a claim number, we then ensure the allocated repairer is one which is convenient to the client and a courtesy vehicle is supplied (unless otherwise stated in the clients policy) then arrange for either the allocated repairer to collect the vehicle if it is undriveable or liaise with the employee to get the vehicle to the repairing garage. We will then give our contact details so we are able to follow the claim through to the end so the client isn’t hassled with phone calls. Once the vehicle is repaired we will contact the client for a convenient time for the vehicle to be delivered back or collected.
Maintenance and Repair
We offer a service where by the client can call us when their vehicle is due a service, tyres or any other problem where it would need to be booked into a garage and we will ensure that the vehicle is booked in on a date and in an area that suits the client and a courtesy vehicle supplied for the duration of the vehicle being off the road. We are also able to control any repairs throughout the contract and end of contract refurbishment, ensuring that the vehicle is back to an acceptable wear and tear condition before returning it to the supplying contract company. This will lower the overall cost to the client once the vehicle is returned. We can also make all the arrangements on behalf of the client for the vehicle to be collected at the end of its contract and returned to the supplying contract house. This gives the client the reassurance that there will be no additional costs added as we will be there when the vehicle is being checked over by the collection agents and it means our clients haven’t got to take time out from their busy schedules
Vehicle Inspections
We are able to offer a service where we will arrange to view our clients fleet twice a year (or more/less if the client requires) to give a breakdown of how the vehicle is being treated. We give an overall report of the interior, exterior and general upkeep of the vehicle. We check to see ff the driver is keeping within the servicing schedules, so that the warranty is still valid. We also check to make sure the mileage is still within the contract terms. This will all save the client money in long term as any issues can be addressed throughout the life of the contract, as apposed to the end when the contract companies can charge high repair costs and excess mileage costs.
Fuel Cards
We will put our expertise and knowledge to work to make sure you have the most competitive efficient fuel card package available to best suit your business.
